Steven has always had the mindset to put other people first. That's why he co-founded We Are MoVal, a non-profit dedicated to providing food to those most in need in our community. He has also dedicated his career to the community, being a Campaign Manager for local public servants, being a licensed notary, and a local small business owner.

Steven grew up right here in Moreno Valley. His family found a home here in our city when he was just a child. His parents worked multiple jobs to provide for their family. Steven graduated in the National Honor Society from Rancho Verde High School here in MoVal. He went on to college at Cal State University, San Marcos, where he graduated with a degree in Political Science. Prior to his current work, Steven worked at the Moreno Valley Business & Employment Resource Center, and lobbied state officials to fix the financial aid system in Sacramento.
